Musings

The above image is a self portrait I took with my first camera back in the 1960's.

This page will have no order, I will use it for random ramblings. This web site will always be a work in progress, as I will be adding new images all the time.

I am now teaching a course for beginning digital photographers at the local senior center. I enjoy helping other discover the pleasures of taking pictures.

Looking at the picture above , I know its me 40 or so years ago but then I had more hair then wrinkles now I have more wrinkles then hair. Yes it is a Nikon Ftn from the 1960's an oldie but goodie. My father was angry with me because it cost more than any camera he ever bought. Which, reminds me that I still have a full color darkroom with 4x5 enlarges and film developing equipment that I no longer use. If anybody is interested in used darkroom equipment call me.

I just returned from a road trip to Florida and Hilton Head Island. As part of the road trip I visited two very interesting National Parks, Fort Pulaski just out side of Savanna, Ga. and Cumberland Island just north of the Florida, Georgia border. You can find more information on the National Park Service internet site. Another interesting island in the area is Amelia Island just south of the Florida border. I am working on adding pictures from this trip soon.

I would like to hear your comments about my web site.
